Mantis, a leading supplier of extended Supply Chain Execution software and solutions in Central Eastern Europe and its partner ANT Technologies, the leading supplier of logistics and auto-id solutions in Russia/CIS, announced today that Logistics Optima, after a detailed market search has selected Mantis’ Logistics Vision software suite (LVS) to automate and optimize its warehousing and distribution operations.
Logistics Optima is the largest producer of low-alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks in Russia. The warehousing and distribution of beverages faces many challenges. The activity peaks due to seasonality combined with the usually tough traceability requirements create a lot of challenges for such a project. The company decided to invest in a modern logistics IT system in order to successfully meet such challenges as well as improve its productivity, competitiveness and customer service.
Mantis’ LVS was selected by Logistics Optima mostly because of its rich functionality in beverages as well as its flexibility and adaptability to logistics processes. As part of the project, ant Technologies will deploy Warehouse Vision, the central component of LVS, and set up an interface for automated data exchange between it and the customer’s ERP system.
