The 12th Annual Logistics and Transportation Congress Eastlog 2009 took place on May 27-29th in Prague, Czech Republic. It is estimated that over 1.000 experts from many business and industry sectors from Central Eastern Europe attended the event.
Mantis Central Europe and its partner Navisys participated jointly in Eastlog where they presented solutions of both companies and met with customers, logistics experts and opinion leaders from the region.
During the first day of the congress at Business Arena, Mr. Spiros Georgiadis (Mantis’ General Manager for Poland and Central Europe) delivered a speech on "How to win the game - New trends in Supply Chain Systems" and Mr. Michal Cesek (Navisys‘ General Manager) delivered a speech on how to "Fight against the crisis - Effective use of IT in logistics".
In addition, during the first day of the congress, Mantis and Navisys organized a workshop on "Information systems in Logistics" focusing to the advantages coming from implementation of information systems in logistics. Interesting business solutions and case studies from Czech Republic and other countries were presented during the workshop. It was, for sure, an exceptional occasion for all who attended the workshop to meet and discuss with experts from warehousing, distribution and transportation market sectors.
Eastlog 2009 Congress was successful and an important meeting place. It gathered many specialists from the Central and Eastern European region and gave the opportunity to all participants to meet and network with their business counterparts as well as to learn the most interesting logistic solutions in Czech Republic, Hungary, and other European countries.
